Top Ten Tues is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke & The Bookish
This week's Top Ten:
Rewind [We chose Authors we'd DIE to meet]
Kait's Picks:
John Green - I haven't worked my way through all of JG's works, but I am absolutely in love with what I have read. Throw in the hilarious Vlog Brothers posts on YouTube and I'm completely smitten with John Green. I would LOVE to meet him.
Megan McCafferty - Megan's Jessica Darling series is one of my all time favorites. I have been in love with Jessica Darling and Marcus Flutie since 11th grade, so meeting Megan has been a dream of mine for so long. I did win a signed book from here recently, and I fangirled for over an hour.
Cassandra Clare - I'm pretty sure I would die if I met Cassandra, but I hope that I do one day! I admit I had a tough time with one book in The Mortal Instruments series, but it's still one of my favorites.
Sarah Dessen - I have been reading Sarah Dessen books since I was in middle school. She was, and still is, one of my favorite contemporary YA authors.
J.K. Rowling - Obviously I want to meet the genius behind my all time favorite series. I shouldn't even need an explanation for her. :]

Beth's Picks:
Dr. Suess
Who wouldn't want to meet the late Dr. Suess!? He's just so epic. Dr. Suess changed the way I think about life. He tought me that it was OKAY to be who I am, not who someone else wants me to be. He is a pivitol learning point in every young child's life.

Just a few [of my favs] Books by Dr. Suess

I love love love her. I'm seriously in awe of her writing. I fell in love with To Stand Beside Her, which takes a lot of guts to play out the story the way she did. I had some SERIOUS book hangovers from her novels. I can't wait to read what she puts out next, and if I ever get the chance to be somewhere to meet her!

Books By B. Kristin

What a phenomenal writer. This is probably going to be my favorite paranormal romance of all times, forever. I love these tigers. The imagery that this woman creates, my goddess. I can only imagine what she will come out with next, and YES I'm highly anticipating ANYTHING she writes!

Books by Colleen:

I absolutely adore this woman. I may be just a tad partial because she's from RI. I've signed copies of both her works, thanks to a mutual friend... but I've yet to meet her. I wish I could have taken one of the writing classes that she taught. Gah! Seriously though, Rebecca pours her heart and soul into her work [like most authors] and you can REALLY tell. I would love to run into Rebecca somewhere around town, but I don't want to seem stalkerish lol!

Books by Rebecca:

I've met John Green and Lauren Oliver! Meeting Cassandra Clare would probably make my life the same with Colleen Houck. I'm actually meeting Colleen Houck at RT next month and I am dying of excitement :). Great list guys!
