Wow. This was one intense story. I'm so definitely happy that I got the chance to read this novella. I can't lie, the author had me at “Filthy erotic romance”. I was like SOLD! Then I read the synopsis and it was all over with. Hook, line, and sinker this girl was done for. From the first page you'll get drawn in, and unmercifully heated to your core, until the last page. No joke, I like to read before I go to sleep, and I read the first chapter and fell asleep. The second I woke up I dove in for more and completely devoured this novella. This is one of those stories you put your real life on hold for.

I loved Nina. I thought she was fierce and unrelenting, although a bit cold and maybe a little bit of a bitch. However, I've been told i'm quite the bitch, so I take kindly to other bitches... I guess it's like an understanding of sorts. There's an air about us that we just instantly connect on a different, albeit “bitchy” way. I do have to say that I absolutely hated Devin. From the first time of his mention to the very end of this novella, and that hatred got immensely worse through out the story. Devin could do no right in my eyes, even if the sexy scenes were out of this world. Although, my definitive favorite would be Aiden. So much sex on a stick.

Opulence packs a real punch for not only your heart, but your panties too. I was literally shocked when I finished the novella, partly because of the twist you just don't see coming, but the cliff hanger of a lifetime. I NEED the second novella, Reverence – RIGHT NOW! Angelica Chase may be a new author to me, but let me tell you her writing is fabulous. I left the story wanting nothing more than well, more. The way she writes her stories make the words fly off the page and move to an erotic dance around you, captivating you.
