This Week's TOP Ten
[Top Ten Best/Worst Movie Adaptations

Kait:

The Perks of Being a Wallflower  The Perks of Being a Wallflower
-Perks of Being a Wallflower
I've loved this book since high school and I really enjoyed the movie.

The Hunger Games (The Hunger Games, #1)  The Hunger Games (The Hunger Games #1)
-The Hunger Games

I think considering that most of the book is in Katniss' head the movie was pretty damn good.
To Kill a Mockingbird  To Kill a Mockingbird (1962) Poster
-To Kill a Mockingbird
A classic book and an amazing movie.

The Notebook  the notebook
-The Notebook

One of the only times I'll say I liked the movie better than the book. Plus, RYAN GOSLING.

The Road  The Road
-The Road

Even though the book was way better I still felt a lot of the same things[mainly fear] when I saw the movie.

Beth:

I Am Number Four (Lorien Legacies, #1)  I Am Number Four (Lorien Legacies, #1)
I am Number Four
- I love the Lorien Legacies. I'm really upset that they're not making more movies. I thought the first one was great.

Beautiful Creatures (Caster Chronicles, #1)  Beautiful Creatures (Caster Chronicles, #1)
Beautiful Creatures
- Even though it doesn't follow the story line of the book, this movie was AMAZING.

Twilight (Twilight, #1)  Twilight (Twilight, #1)
The Twilight Series
- I'm not afraid to be honest, I loved this series and I loved the movies.

The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe (The Chronicles of Narnia, #1)  The Chronicles of Narnia - The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe (Movie tie-in)
The Lion The Witch and The Wardrobe
- I read this book as a kid. I then watched the animated cartoon, when Disney completely re-did it again... they did such a wonderful job.

Romeo & Juliet: The Contemporary Film, The Classic Play Romeo and Juliet
Romeo & Juliet
- Classic. I'm obsessed with Leonardo DiCaprio. This is one of my all time favorite movies. Ever.

  1. This is a great list. I completely agree with you on the Lorien Legacies, I've read the first one and the movie was amazing, but the other books in the series are still on my TBR.

  4. Great List!! I should have included The Perks of Being a Wallflower to my list. I loved the movie, but I still need to read the book. That is the only reason I didn't include it.

The Hunger Games was VERY well done. I can't wait for Catching Fire.

  5. This is a great list. I'm a fan of most of your choices with the exception of I am Number Four I think that could have been amazing if cast better. I'm still on the fence about Beautiful Creatures.
